Junior Winter League- Strokestown v Shannon Gaels 20/04/08

After a slow start the Junior ladies came from a point down at the end of a closely fought first half against Shannon Gaels to an emphatic victory with the final score Strokestown 4-8 to Shannon Gaels 8 points on Sunday.

A perfect record in the league so far of 4 out of 4 for Strokestown but we still have two tough games to play against St. Barrys next weekend and St. Croans the following (this Fridays game has been re scheduled again).

U14 Championship - Next Fixture

The U14s next fixture takes place Wednesday 23rd April against Kilglass Gaels at 7pm (away). Best of luck to the girls!

U14 Championship: Strokestown v Boyle 15/04/08

On Tuesday evening last our u 14 team put up a fantastic performance against Boyle with a final scoreline of Strokestown 5-9 to Boyle 0-5. Scorers on the evening - Ashling Mac Aullife 2-3, Bronagh Mc Hugh 2-2, Colleen Cosgrove 1-2, Grainne Kelly 0-1, Rebecca Mullolly 0-1 and Judy Mc Dermott 0-1. This is the girls 2nd victory in 3 games. Congratulations girls!

The Junior Winter League match .v. St. Croans has now been fixed for Friday April 25th 2008.

Junior Winter League: Strokestown .v. St. Marys 13/04/08

The Junior team had another impressive win against St. Marys in their third Winter League match on Sunday last. Once again a great turnout of 21 players togged on the day. Final score 2-14 to 5 points.
