U14 Championship Semi Final-12th May 2008
Our U14s lost the championship semi final on mon evening by a single point to st ciarans. scoreline 8 points to 7. had all the play in second half but just could not score due to great marking by ciarans defence. girls gave 100% as they did all season . scorers on day ashling mc auliffe 0-3,bronagh mc hugh 0-2, grainne kelly0- and kim sullivan 0-1. thank all girls for their efforts . panel - ashling hanley jill mullolly lorna flanagan aoife sheil michelle mullolly olivia rodgers grainne kelly judy mc dermott bronagh mc hugh kim sullivan colleen cosgrove triona kelly rebecca mullolly ashling mc aulliffe deirdre convoy claire dolan kirsty mc kay mary mc dermott sophia green ciara treacy.

Junior Winter League: Strokestown v St.Croans 3/05/08
The Junior team defeated St Croans 2-16 to 4 points on Saturday evening in the Winter League. They are now top of the league going into the semi finals after winning all their matches. Our highest turnout of players yet with 25 togging on the day. The league semi finals are due to take place next weekend.
U14 Championship Quarter Finals:Strokestown v Padraig Pearses
After a close first half (1-2 to 1-1) the Strokestown Ladies U14s went on to beat Padraig Pearses 2-13 to 1-2 with an excellent second half performance. Scorers ashling mc aulliffe 2-4, bronagh mc hugh 0-3, judy mc dermott 0-4. triona kelly 0-1 and colleen cosgrove 0-1. The U14s are now through to the championship semi final next weekend (fixtures to be set). Best of luck girls!

The Junior team defeated St Barrys on Sunday last to ensure a place in the league semi finals. Final score 3.12 to 3.4. A great turnout of 23 players put up a fantastic team performance. Our final league game before the semis takes place this Saturday at 7.30pm away against St. Croans.
U14 Championship - Strokestown through to Quarter Finals
Congratulations to our U14s who have qualified for the quarter finals of the Championship! In a tough encounter on Wednesday evening last they beat kilglass gales 3-5 to 0-2. Scorers of the evening were Judy mc dermott 0-2, ashling mac auliffe 2-2. bronagh mc hugh 0-1, colleen cosgrove 1-0.
They continued their winning streak on sunday defeating Eire og 8-10 to 3-2. Scorers: ashling mac auliffe 2-6 , judy mc dermott 2-2. bronagh mc hugh 1-1. triona kelly 1-1. ashling hanley 1-0. kirsty mc kay 1-0 .
