Junior Winter League: Strokestown v St. Dominics 30/03/08

Congratulations to our Junior team who displayed a fine performance in defeating a galant St. Dominics team 3-19 to 1-1 last Sunday. The game was played in a good spirit in very windy conditions. This was our second victory in two winter league games. A great turnout of 24 players togged on the day and the victory was down to a great team performance once again.

Best of luck to our county representatives next weekend.

The Junior Team got their Winter League Campaign off to a winning start against St. Faithleachs on Monday last. Final score 1-2 to 8 points. Team: Maire Mulloolly, Lorraine Togher, Aoife Beirne, Aine Caldwell, Sarah Brudell, Claire Farrell(2), Feena Beirne, Morgan Carlos(C), Katie Mc Loughlin(2), Catherine Hagan, Niamh McHugh(2), Maria Dolan, Deirdre Allen, Laura Brudell (2).
